I’m grateful for my time at Colorado School of Mines. I got my bachelor’s degree there in 1980 and then went back for my master’s in 1982. I’m thankful for the excellent education I received at Mines and the great community I was a part of. I also found that having a Mines degree opened a lot of doors for me and helped with networking. My advice to future generations is to use as much of your time as you can getting to know as many people as you can, both in and out of the school. Expand your network as much as you can.
