Program Overview
The Business and Entrepreneurship minor builds foundational knowledge in business, economics, innovation and entrepreneurship. You’ll learn how organizations make decisions, allocate resources and evaluate opportunities.

Innov8x at Colorado School of Mines is an immersive entrepreneurship program where students work in teams to develop real startup ideas, build prototypes and pitch their concepts to industry mentors and investors. Through hands-on experiences, students learn how to turn technical ideas into viable ventures while developing skills in problem-solving, teamwork and innovation.
