Obituary

Thank you for notifying Colorado School of Mines regarding the passing of one of our alumni. Mines Magazine prints memorials to recently deceased alumni in each issue. To publish an obituary in Mines Magazine, we require a newspaper or funeral home obituary or typed obituary from the family. We no longer publish photos alongside obituaries.

Please note: emembrances in Mines Magazine focus on an individual’s connections to Mines, as well as key events and accomplishments. We aim to keep a balance between these important points and obituary length in order to honor as many deceased alumni as possible. For this reason, we no longer include lists of survivors in obituaries published in Mines Magazine. Submitted obituaries will be edited to conform with the magazine’s length and style standards.
