Authorship Guide

Authorship standards vary between academic disciplines, which can lead to disputes over appropriate practice in collaborative work. It is important to discuss authorship early and often on a project and authorship may need to be revisited during the project lifecycle. Although authorship practices differ from one setting to another and individual situations often require discussions among members of the research team, variations in practices should be within these basic guidelines.
