Federal Relations
Mines Federal Relations
Mines Federal Relations serves as a liaison with federal partners to advance the university’s mission and maximize the impact of Mines research, education and leadership.
Effective federal relations support research and education in context—promoting innovative solutions that enhance social, economic, and environmental outcomes. This work helps inform national science and engineering priorities and drives real-world impact.
In addition to representing Mines’ priorities in Washington, D.C., Mines Federal Relations supports individual and institutional advocacy efforts, promoting a unified message that advances the interests of the university, its faculty, students, and research enterprise.
Mines faculty and staff who have questions about federal legislation, rulemaking, or planned federal advocacy activities are strongly encouraged to coordinate with Mines Federal Relations to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and protocols.
