Program Detail

The Analytical Geochemistry graduate certificate offers a rigorous, lab-centered curriculum focused on the chemical analysis of Earth materials and fluids. You’ll develop a strong foundation in analytical methods, data analysis and microscopy, along with an understanding of how chemical signatures reveal the history and behavior of Earth systems. You’ll learn how samples are prepared, measured and interpreted, with a focus on data quality, calibration, uncertainty and reproducibility so you can generate reliable results and use them with confidence.
